Job Description ::
• Expert in Azure Data Factory
• Proven experience in Data Modelling for Manufacturing data sources
• Proficient SQL design
• +5 years of experience in Data engineering roles
• Prove experience in PBI: Dashboarding, DAX calculations, Star scheme development and semantic model building
• Manufacturing knowledge
• Experience with Client PPA as data source is desirable
• API dev Knowledge
• Python skills
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Pipeline Development:
-
Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL/ELT) data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.

Automate data ingestion and transformation processes using modern tools and frameworks.
-
Handle both batch and real-time data processing, depending on business needs.
2. Data Integration and Management:
-
Integrate data from multiple internal and external systems, including APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party services.

Build solutions to unify disparate data sources into a centralized platform to support analytics and reporting.

Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of integrated data.
3. Database and Data Warehouse Management:
-
Design and manage scalable databases, data lakes, and data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.

Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and efficient data modeling.
-
Implement appropriate data storage formats (e.g., Parquet, Avro, JSON) for performance and cost optimization.
4. Data Quality and Governance:

Implement processes to ensure data quality, integrity, and completeness.

Develop data validation and monitoring systems to detect and correct issues.

Support data governance initiatives by applying metadata management, data lineage, and data cataloging practices.
5. Cloud and Infrastructure:
-
Build and manage cloud-based data infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Leverage infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) for provisioning and managing resources.

Monitor and manage data infrastructure performance, cost, and scalability.
6. Security and Compliance:

Implement data security practices including encryption, access control, and auditing.

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) and company policies.

Collaborate with IT security teams to protect sensitive and critical data assets.
7. Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, product managers, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Provide ongoing support for data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.

Document architecture, data flows, and technical specifications for internal use.
