Job Description
Involved in all phases of SDLC (Software development life cycle).
• Experience in writing T-SQL (DDL, DML AND DCL), developing/creating new database objects such as tables, views,
indexes, complex stored procedures, functions (UDF), cursors and triggers, BCP, common table expressions (CTEs).
• Extensive knowledge of Normalization and relational Database management systems.
• Excellent T-SQL development skills to write complex queries involving multiple tables, great ability to develop and
maintain stored procedures triggers, and user-defined functions.
• Experience in Performance Tuning and Query optimization.
• Expertise in Distributed and MPP database systems like Greenplum.
• Excellent experience in designing, developing, documenting, and testing ETL jobs and mappings in server and parallel
jobs using DataStage to populate tables in data warehouses and data marts.
• Proficient in developing strategies for Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) mechanisms.
• Experience in designing parallel jobs using various stages like join, merge, lookup, remove duplicates, filter, dataset,
lookup file set, complex flat file, modify, and aggregator.
• Experience in designing server jobs using various stages like sequential file, ODBC, aggregator, transformer, and sort.
• Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve complex programming independently.
• Highly focused on delivering releases, meeting deadlines with quality development applying policies procedures and
standards relating to the ETL process development.
• Have hands-on experience in Automic job schedulers.
• Have good knowledge of Power BI.
• Developed IICS workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources (SQL databases, and flat files) into
Snowflake.
• Optimized query performance and data storage using partitioning, clustering, and materialized views in Snowflake.
• Developed and maintained ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Informatica IICS to load and transform data in Snowflake.
