Database Administrator and Application Support |
1. JOB PURPOSE

Administer all the databases (SQL/ORACLE/DB2) & support applications to ensure the high availability and uptime as per the agreed SLA. |

Database Administrator: Administer all the SQL/ORACLE/DB2 databases, by performing regular individual database health checks and also by performing database maintenance activities to ensure maximum uptime and to maintain high availability as per the SLA’s defined. |

Application Administrator: Designing, Configuring & Implementing the new requests raised from top management and various departments. Ensuring the maximum uptime of Airport applications to smoothen the business operations. Handling the issues and resolving thoroughly to minimize the business impact. |

Others: Knowledge Transfer on Applications/Databases overview to the team & external teams about the databases architecture and also about the Universal Flight Information System application architecture. Liaisons with all external and internal stakeholders viz. Airlines, OEM vendors; internal departments etc., in soft and courteous approach for fulfilling the requirements and to develop strong inter personal relationships. |

Educational Qualifications

§ B.Tech Graduate with IT/CSE/ECE/EEE, MCA § Certification in Oracle and SQL DBA
