Job Description:

1. Extensive knowledge on TCP/IP, Layer 2 (VLAN/VTP/LACP/STP/MSTP/CDP) protocols, Layer 3 (OSPF/BGP) protocols and basic knowledge on security protocols VPN/Tunnels.

2. Strong working knowledge on troubleshooting/debugging of network reachability issues.

3. Knowledge on VMware virtualization, installation/upgrading of UCS CIMC/ESXI software, debugging of UCS h/w issues and knowledge on KVM/hyper-V/vCenter.

4. Knowledge on installation/upgrading of cisco CSR/ISRv/ISE.

5. Creating Virtual Machines in ESXI/UCS boxes and managing them using cisco internal tools.

6. Basic knowledge on open source technologies/Languages (VMWare powerCLI/PowerShell/Python/Go/Shell) and tools (Jenkins, docker, simplesoft Sapro Servers, Git/GitHub, Bitbucket, confluence, wiki)

7. Knowledge on installation of Linux Ubuntu/RHEL and windows OS.

8. Knowledge on h/w monitoring tools ciscoprime/Nagios/Zabbix/etc..

9. Working knowledge on maintaining and managing different servers/website/tools, IT operations and LAB infra
