Job Description
Introduction
We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Delivery Boy to join our logistics and operations team. The role involves ensuring the timely pickup and delivery of goods to customers in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. The ideal candidate should possess a valid driving license and own a two-wheeler to carry out deliveries smoothly.
This position requires someone who is punctual, reliable, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage routes effectively and handle packages with care. Candidates with prior experience in delivery services will be preferred, but freshers who are committed and enthusiastic are also welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pickup and Delivery of Goods

Ensure the on-time collection and delivery of goods, parcels, and packages to customers.

Follow the assigned delivery schedules and routes effectively.

Handle goods carefully to avoid any damage during transportation.

Obtain proper acknowledgment and signatures from customers after successful deliveries.
2. Route Planning & Time Management
-
Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to ensure faster and cost-effective deliveries.

Avoid delays by anticipating traffic conditions and taking alternate routes when necessary.

Ensure deliveries are completed within the given time frames.
3. Vehicle Handling & Maintenance

Use your own two-wheeler for daily delivery operations.

Keep the vehicle well-maintained, serviced, and clean at all times.

Report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements immediately.

Ensure the vehicle always complies with RTO and safety regulations.
4. Customer Service & Interaction
-
Greet customers politely and deliver goods professionally.

Handle customer queries or complaints courteously and escalate when necessary.

Ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining proper communication and behavior.
5. Payment Handling & Documentation
-
Collect cash, digital payments, or other dues from customers as per company policy (if applicable).

Maintain proper records of delivered packages, payments, and receipts.

Submit daily delivery reports and payment collections to the supervisor.
6. Safety & Compliance
-
Follow traffic rules, road safety guidelines, and company protocols at all times.

Handle packages carefully, especially fragile or valuable goods.

Ensure compliance with the company’s delivery policies and operational standards.
