About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and dedicated Delivery Boy to join our team for delivering FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) and Healthcare products in the Medavakkam area of Chennai. The delivery radius will be within 10 kilometers, covering local neighborhoods, homes, clinics, and small businesses.
This is a vital position in our supply chain and customer service operations. As a delivery boy, you will act as the face of our business, ensuring that our products reach customers safely, on time, and in good condition. You will also help maintain a professional and friendly image of the company during customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Delivery

Deliver daily assigned orders to customers within the 10km radius of Medavakkam.

Handle FMCG items (like groceries, beverages, personal care items) and healthcare products (such as over-the-counter medicines, hygiene supplies, etc.).

Verify and cross-check the delivery list and ensure accurate and complete deliveries.

Get delivery acknowledgment or digital signature from customers as proof of delivery.
Customer Interaction

Communicate politely and professionally with customers during delivery.

Assist customers in basic queries related to their order, if needed.

Handle complaints at the customer level professionally and report them to the office or supervisor.
Safety and Product Handling

Ensure all products are handled carefully and are not damaged in transit.

Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, especially while handling healthcare products.

Keep delivery vehicles (bike or scooter) clean and well-maintained.
Route Management

Plan delivery routes efficiently to minimize delays and fuel consumption.

Use GPS or delivery apps to navigate and track orders, if provided.

Inform the supervisor in case of delays, customer unavailability, or route issues.
Basic Reporting

Submit delivery records, receipts, and customer feedback daily to the office.

Maintain a simple delivery log (can be physical or app-based).

Inform management of any incidents, cash discrepancies, or delivery-related issues.
