Job Description

We are always looking for a Delivery executive who can work for us as a full-timer, part-timer, weekend & or night shifts so that you can make use of your time wisely and earn more money.

Duties:

Responsible for collecting the delivery items from the warehouses/Pickup location.
Ensure the safe delivery of items at the customers place on time.
Cross check if correct items are picked up and delivered.
Responsible for collecting the right amount of payment from the customers.
Report or update the delivered items information correctly.

Who could be ideal for this Job?

You should have a Bike and Driving license
One who is passionate to drive/ride the bike

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Operations

Pick up goods from the designated warehouse, restaurant, store, or seller outlet.
Deliver items accurately and safely to customers’ addresses within the given time slot.
Ensure that all packages or items are complete, undamaged, and correctly matched with delivery orders before leaving the pick-up location.
Handle fragile or perishable goods with care as per company standards.

2. Route & Time Management

Plan efficient delivery routes using maps or GPS to save time and fuel.
Follow navigation tools like Google Maps or in-app GPS guidance to reach customer addresses.
Inform the supervisor in case of traffic delays, address issues, or delivery challenges.
Ensure all assigned deliveries are completed within the shift or on time as per SLA (Service Level Agreement).

3. Customer Interaction

Communicate professionally and politely with customers at the time of delivery.
Confirm the customer's name and collect delivery confirmation (OTP/signature/photo as required).
Answer basic questions related to the delivery if asked by customers (e.g., order ID, contact number of customer support).
Escalate customer complaints, if any, to the support or customer care team.

4. Payment Handling (If Applicable)

Collect cash on delivery (COD) if assigned and ensure accurate billing and cash reconciliation.
Use digital POS or mobile apps for payment confirmation, if required.
Deposit collected payments to the authorized hub or office at the end of the shift.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain basic delivery records such as the number of deliveries completed, failed attempts, and delivery time logs.
Report daily activity to the supervisor or through mobile apps used by the company.
Provide delivery feedback, customer complaints, or any unusual incident during delivery.

6. Equipment & Vehicle Care

Keep the assigned delivery vehicle (bike, cycle, e-bike, van) clean, fuelled, and maintained.
Follow traffic rules and company safety policies strictly while on the road.
Report vehicle maintenance needs or breakdowns immediately.
Use the delivery uniform, bag, and ID badge (if provided) during work hours.
