Delivery Executive
Job Description
For the safe and timely delivery of packages
Coordinating schedules, handling customer inquiries
Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of packages
While also handling customer interactions and managing delivery schedules.
Requirements:-
A valid driver's license, strong communication skills
The ability to manage time and navigate efficiently, often while lifting and handling packages.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pickup & Delivery Services
Pick up packages from warehouses, restaurants, or stores and deliver them to customers.
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
Ensure safe and damage-free handling of parcels.
2. Customer Interaction & Service
Deliver packages with a professional and friendly attitude.
Communicate with customers regarding delivery updates and order status.
Collect payments (if applicable) and obtain customer signatures for confirmation.
3. Compliance & Safety
Follow traffic rules and safety guidelines while riding/driving.
Ensure the proper handling of perishable or fragile items.
Report any issues or delays to the supervisor.
4. Reporting & Coordination
Update the company’s system or mobile app with delivery status.
Coordinate with warehouse staff or restaurant teams for smooth order management.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues (if using a company vehicle).
