Delivery Partner
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Pickup and Delivery:
-
Pick up grocery orders from the designated store, warehouse, or collection center.

Verify and match order items with the invoice before delivery.
-
Ensure timely and accurate delivery to the correct customer address.
2. Customer Interaction:
-
Greet customers professionally and politely during each delivery.
-
Collect digital or cash payments where required (Cash on Delivery).
-
Obtain customer signature or OTP verification as proof of delivery.
3. Handling of Goods:
-
Handle grocery items with care, especially perishables, glass containers, or heavy loads.
-
Ensure hygienic transport and safe packaging during transit.
-
Use insulated bags or cooling boxes for frozen or fresh products if provided.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
-
Maintain proper records of delivered and undelivered orders.

Report delivery status using the mobile app or delivery management system.

Inform the supervisor about failed deliveries, delays, or customer complaints.
5. Vehicle Responsibility (if using own vehicle):
-
Ensure your two-wheeler or delivery vehicle is in good condition.

Keep fuel receipts or travel logs as required.

Follow all traffic and road safety rules.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
-
No minimum education required; basic literacy (ability to read address and use mobile apps) is sufficient.
Key Skills:

Familiarity with GPS, navigation apps, and route planning

Basic understanding of customer service

Physical fitness and ability to lift grocery bags (up to 15–20 kg if needed)

Dependability and time management

Ability to handle pressure and daily delivery targets
