Desktop Support Engineer L2
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:-
· Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature.
· Providing best support to the Client & Customers,
· Configuration of static IP Pcs and Laptop.
· Analyzed and diagnosed DNS/DHCP and other networking issues
· Handled MS outlook issues (configuring/backup/restore).
· Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers and other computer and telecommunications equipment.
· Install and support PC, laptop and tablet hardware and software.
· Create alternative methods of completing tasks, correcting user errors and system inconsistencies to improve the desktop team function.
· File Server backup, File restore, Biometric and Network Camera.
· Participate in hardware and software reviews and recommend purchases.
· Maintain inventory of installed software, manage software licensing and create Policies and procedures for upgrades.
· Work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule.
· Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
· Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions.
· Provides remote support using VNC, team viewer and any desk.
· Troubleshoot network issues with ensuring link test (Ping, Trace route) and monitoring link through PTRG.
· Managed domain servers and handled client machines to provide timely delivery of assigned tasks/issues.
· Troubleshooting the user’s issues.
· Patch Update on Client Machine.
· Active directory, creating users, groups and OU
· Managing DHCP Server
· Microsoft Patching Activity on Windows Servers 2008/2012
· Maintain the Server level Hardware and Troubleshooting.
· Implementing request for change.
