Harness IDP Engineer / Internal Developer Platform Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Harness IDP Engineer to design, implement, and maintain an Internal Developer Portal (IDP) platform that enables self-service application onboarding, infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD automation, and developer productivity improvements. The role will focus on leveraging Harness IDP, CI/CD, GitOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and cloud-native technologies to provide standardized developer experiences and governance across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Harness IDP & Self-Service Platform

• Design and implement Harness IDP workflows for developer self-service.

• Build and maintain service catalogs, software metadata, ownership models, and documentation repositories.

• Create reusable onboarding templates for applications, services, APIs, and infrastructure.

• Automate application onboarding, project creation, and access provisioning processes.

• Develop golden paths and standardized developer workflows.
