Extramural Project : “Alleviation of moisture-deficit stress in groundnut, soybean, chickpea, and pigeon pea by application of endophytic bacteria”
Qualification : I. MSc in Microbiology/Agril. Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ Plant Pathology with 04 years/05 years of Bachelor degree. II. MSc in Microbiology/Agril. Microbiology /Biochemistry/ Agril. Biochemistry / Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Plant Pathology with 03 years Bachelor degree and 02 years of Master’s degree should have NET qualification. III. PhD degree holders in above mentioned subjects are also eligible for SRFs. IV. Graduates with three years Bachelor’s degree who has acquired 03 years of Master’s degree like MSc (Ag) in Microbiology/Agril. Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Agril. Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ Plant Pathology V. Integrated degree 5 years (BTech + MTech) in any of the above subjects
No. of Post : 01 at Anantapur
Pay : 25000 + HRA for first two years; 28000 + HRA for subsequent years
Age limit : Maximum age is 35 years

Directorate of Groundnut Research (DGR) came in to being as the first crop commodity research unit under the category of NRC's (National Research Centres) of the ICAR. It was established in 1979 to give a fillip to research for enhancing productivity of groundnut in keeping with its importance among the oilseed crops of India. The National Research Centre on Groundnut (NRCG) was elevated to the level of a Directorate in the year 2009 and rechristened as the Directorate of Groundnut Research (DGR)
