JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications
• Analysis and design experience including exposure to pattern-oriented software development (including Object Oriented Design) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and these issues
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
• Integrate data storage solutions {{may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.}}
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and these issues
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and auto mitigation.

JOB SKILLS

• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
• Experience integrating systems through web services, preferably using WebAPI/ SOAP.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2008+ including database modelling and query optimization.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and writing reusable libraries.
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Experience with popular web application frameworks
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
• Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
