E-commerce Sales Executive
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a driven and tech-savvy E-commerce Sales Executive to manage and grow our sales across online platforms. This role involves handling product listings, driving sales performance, managing customer inquiries, and optimizing product visibility on various e-commerce channels including Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, JioMart, or the company’s own website.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an online retail environment and be familiar with digital marketing tactics, e-commerce dashboards, order management systems, and the dynamics of online customer behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
1. E-commerce Platform Management

Manage and maintain product listings on e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Snapdeal, Nykaa, etc.).

Ensure accurate product information, including descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, and stock availability.

Regularly update listings with new products, seasonal offers, or promotional banners.
2. Sales Performance Optimization

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales data across platforms.

Analyze sales trends and implement actions to boost conversions and order volume.

Coordinate with digital marketing teams to improve product visibility using SEO, PPC ads, and platform-specific promotions.

Suggest pricing strategies based on market research and competitor analysis.
3. Order & Inventory Management

Process and track online orders, returns, cancellations, and replacements using seller dashboards.

Coordinate with the warehouse or logistics teams to ensure timely shipping and delivery.

Maintain stock levels to avoid over-selling or out-of-stock issues.

Forecast demand and assist in inventory planning based on seasonal trends and promotions.
4. Customer Service & Relationship Management

Respond to customer inquiries, reviews, ratings, and complaints on e-commerce platforms.

Ensure high-quality customer service to maintain seller ratings and reviews.

Follow up on delivery issues and resolve disputes related to returns or refunds promptly.
5. Promotional Campaign Execution

Plan and execute sales campaigns like Big Billion Day, Great Indian Festival, Black Friday, Independence Day, etc.

Create discount codes, combo offers, and platform-sponsored promotions to increase traffic and sales.

Monitor campaign effectiveness and provide post-campaign reports.
6. Marketplace Compliance

Ensure compliance with all platform policies, seller standards, and tax regulations.

Manage GST, TCS, and invoice documentation for all e-commerce sales.

Stay updated with policy changes from marketplaces to avoid penalties or suspension.
7. Website E-commerce (if applicable)

Manage online orders through the brand’s own website using Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom CMS.

Collaborate with IT or development teams to ensure website usability, speed, and checkout flow.

Track web analytics using Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or platform tools.
