Job Description:
- Subtitling & Captioning Process: Closed captioning is the process of displaying text on a television, video screen or other visual display to provide
- interpretive information to individuals who wish to access it.
- Closed captions typically show a transcription of the audio portion of a program as it occurs verbatim, sometimes including non-speech elements.
- Watching Hollywood movies and TV shows and other media content, documenting the conversation verbatim, and creating captions/subtitles for the same.
- Need to use appropriate spellings/punctuation (US / UK).
- Any graduate / under graduate.
- Excellent English grammar & vocabulary.
- Good communication skills.
- Good listening skills, familiarity with foreign accents.
- Exposure to western culture.
- Good typing/transcription skills.
- Listen to Hollywood videos and document the conversation verbatim.
- Create captions/subtitles of videos for broadcast and DVDs.
- Understand the guidelines given by the client for documenting the conversation.
- Maintain quality and turn-around time.
