As an Education Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their educational journeys. You will help students identify their goals, explore their academic interests, and make informed decisions about their education and future careers.
Key Responsibilities:

Career and Educational Counseling:

Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students to help them understand their academic interests, strengths, and career aspirations.

Offer advice on educational programs, admissions processes, career paths, and future opportunities based on individual preferences and aspirations.

Assist students in selecting suitable educational courses, colleges, or universities both locally and internationally.

Admission Guidance:

Guide students through the entire admission process, including application submission, document verification, and entrance requirements.

Help students understand and complete the admission requirements for various institutions, including deadlines, application forms, and exams (if applicable).

Assist students in preparing for entrance exams, providing necessary information and resources for exam preparation.

Career Development:

Provide guidance on career planning, internship opportunities, and job prospects based on students’ academic achievements and career interests.

Offer information about career paths, job market trends, and required skills for different professions.

Organize workshops, seminars, and events related to career development, soft skills, and job interview preparation.

Student Assessment and Support:

Conduct assessments to understand students' strengths, weaknesses, and personal preferences to provide customized advice and recommendations.

Offer emotional and academic support to students who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, or indecision about their future education.

Follow up with students to track their progress, address any challenges they are facing, and ensure they are on track with their academic and career goals.

Parent Interaction:

Communicate with parents to keep them informed about their child's academic progress, potential educational pathways, and career options.

Provide advice to parents on how to support their children’s educational and career aspirations.

Organize parent-student counseling sessions to align educational goals with family expectations.

Institutional Liaison:

Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, universities, and educational institutions to stay updated on program offerings, admissions policies, and scholarship opportunities.

Coordinate with external educational institutions to arrange visits, workshops, or career fairs.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, students' progress, and feedback.
