Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical Design & Development

Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems, circuits, and components.

Prepare schematics, diagrams, and layouts using software like AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or MATLAB.

Conduct load calculations, short circuit analysis, and system sizing for projects.

Recommend equipment specifications, electrical components, and materials for projects.
2. Installation & Commissioning
-
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems at project sites.
-
Ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and quality parameters.
-
Troubleshoot issues during installation and provide technical solutions.
3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
-
Monitor electrical systems for performance, efficiency, and safety compliance.
-
Diagnose faults and implement preventive and corrective maintenance.
-
Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
4. Compliance & Safety
-
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
-
Conduct risk assessments and safety audits for electrical systems.
-
Promote safe work practices and awareness among team members.
5. Project Support & Documentation
-
Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
-
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.

Coordinate with design, production, and project teams for timely completion of tasks.
6. Continuous Learning & Innovation
-
Stay updated with latest electrical technologies, industry standards, and best practices.

Recommend process improvements, energy-efficient solutions, and innovative electrical designs.

Participate in training sessions, workshops, and skill enhancement programs.
Required Skills & Competencies
1. Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, control systems, and power distribution.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB, ETAP, or equivalent design and simulation software.

Understanding of transformers, motors, generators, switchgear, and electrical safety devices.
2. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

Ability to analyze complex electrical problems and provide effective solutions.

Skill in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
