Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Lead and participate in the planning, design, and engineering of electrical systems for various projects.
2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop electrical design solutions.
3. Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant information and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
4. Prepare detailed electrical plans, specifications, and drawings using CAD software.
5. Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and short circuit analysis.
6. Select appropriate electrical equipment, materials, and components based on project requirements and industry standards
7. Review and evaluate technical submissions, proposals, and vendor products to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during the construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
9. Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and analysis of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
10. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering and incorporate them into project designs.
