Position: Electrical Site Engineer
Department: Mechanical
Education Required: Diploma or BE in Mechanical
Location: Kolkata
Remark: Note: The candidate will be responsible for handling the West Bengal region. Travel and food allowances will be provided as per company policy
In the solar industry, an Electrical Site Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising the electrical installation and commissioning of solar projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. They work closely with other engineers, technicians, and contractors to meet quality standards and project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Management: Overseeing the daily electrical work on a solar project site, including the installation of equipment, wiring, and systems.
Quality Control: Ensuring that all electrical equipment, materials, and installations comply with industry standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Testing and Commissioning: Performing electrical tests and commissioning procedures to verify the proper functioning of the solar power plant.
Safety Management: Ensuring that all electrical work is conducted safely and in compliance with relevant safety regulations and protocols.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving electrical issues or faults that may arise during construction or commissioning.
Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of electrical work, inspections, and testing results.
Collaboration: Working effectively with other engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Project Planning and Scheduling: Participating in the planning and scheduling of electrical work, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
Technical Support: Providing technical support to construction crews and subcontractors on site, addressing any technical questions or concerns.
Compliance: Ensuring that all electrical work complies with local and national codes, regulations, and standards.
