Job Overview: An Electrician Cum Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and plumbing fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This dual-skilled professional ensures the safe and efficient operation of electrical wiring, lighting, water supply systems, and drainage systems.

The ideal candidate should have technical expertise in both electrical and plumbing work, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Electrical Work

    • Install, repair, and maintain wiring, circuit breakers, electrical panels, and lighting systems.
    • Troubleshoot electrical issues and replace faulty components such as switches, outlets, and transformers.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
    • Inspect and test electrical systems using specialized tools like multimeters.

  2. Plumbing Work

    • Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitary fittings.
    • Fix leaks, clogs, broken pipes, and other plumbing issues.
    • Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications.
