Assistant Editor, English Language Teaching (School), Viva Education

applications for the post of Assistant Editor, School ELT, from candidates who
meet the criteria specified below.
Key responsibilities
- Copy-edit and
rewrite manuscripts and other types of content
- Create
educational and assessment content for language learners of various age groups
- Proofread
typescripts
- Visualize
drawings and illustrations for various types of text
- Brief, direct and
coordinate with artists, designers, typesetters and proofreaders
- Work with the
whole team to bring a book up to the stage of production
Skills and experience
- A first-class
master’s degree or higher in English
- Excellent
language skills
- Good writing
skills
- An eye for detail
- Good
interpersonal skills
- 6 months to 1
year’s beginner-level experience at a publishing house preferred
- Freshers can
