Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and validation of hardware systems that integrate closely with embedded software. You will work on complex electronic systems involving microcontrollers, sensors, communication interfaces, power management circuits, and custom PCBs. Your work will contribute directly to the creation of innovative, high-performance products used in various applications such as consumer electronics, automotive systems, industrial automation, IoT devices, or medical devices.
This position requires strong hands-on experience with circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and embedded system architecture. You will collaborate closely with software developers, mechanical engineers, and project managers throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Design & Development:
Design analog and digital circuitry, including microcontroller-based systems, power supply circuits, and sensor interfaces. Select components based on electrical requirements, cost, size, and availability. -
Schematic Capture & PCB Layout:
Use CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad to create schematics and multilayer PCB layouts. Optimize for signal integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal management, and manufacturability. -
Prototype Building & Testing:
Assemble and test prototype boards using soldering tools and rework stations. Debug hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other lab equipment. -
System Integration:
Work with embedded software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and firmware. Test and validate communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and USB. -
Power Management:
Design and implement power supply circuits, including DC-DC converters, LDOs, and battery management systems. Ensure stable power delivery across all system components. -
Documentation:
Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), hardware design specifications, test plans, and assembly instructions. -
Compliance & Testing:
Ensure hardware designs meet safety, regulatory, and industry compliance standards such as CE, FCC, RoHS, and EMC. Assist with certification and validation processes. -
Troubleshooting & Support:
Identify and resolve hardware issues during development, manufacturing, and post-deployment. Provide technical support to manufacturing and service teams. -
Project Collaboration:
Participate in cross-functional team meetings. Collaborate with mechanical designers, software developers, and quality assurance engineers to ensure design goals are met.
