Job Description
At least 4 years of Data Warehouse ETL design, development and maintenance with successful implementation of large Enterprise BI solutions
• At least 4 years of hands-on development/maintenance experience with Talend Data Integration
• Translate business requirements into Detailed Data Requirements by performing source data profiling and requirement analysis
• Demonstrated knowledge of database concepts of data modeling and mapping including normalization, dimensionality, referential integrity, indexes, keys, common dimensions, star and snowflake schemas, master data and metadata (MUST know how to read models and mappings)
• Must be well versed with Data integration best practices, standards, and processes
• Must be well versed using components like DB-components, tMap, and other expression based components.
• Demonstrated sound understanding of development methodology
• Experience in working with RDBMS mainly SQL Server.
• High proficiency writing SQL; Must be able to read and write, and optimize SQL
• Strong expertise in Java and OOPS concept
• Hands on experience working on different projects simultaneously.
• Must be self-starter and able to demonstrate experience working in an agile environment to deliver robust & well tested solutions
• Strong interest in learning new technologies
• Ability to integrate various data sources including Transactional databases, MS Excel, Web Services, Hive, No-SQL databases, and unstructured data sources
• Demonstrated across numerous data warehousing/data integration projects the ability to work to with other project team members and business users to resolve moderately complex data integration issues.
• Demonstrated experience in various phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
• DBA or database development experience (a plus)
• Experience with SSIS, SAP Data Integrator/Data Services is a plus
Nice To have:
• Windows Task Scheduler tool experience.
• Experience of Agile/SCRUM way of working

Professional Know how:
Mandatory:
• Should have at least 5 years of experience in ETL
• Should have at least 4 years of experience in the Talend developer/Support Role.

Experience:
• Should have at least 5 to 6 years of professional experience.

• Developing optimized jobs with Talend Open source.
• Implement and stay abreast of industry best practices and tooling.
• Work with developers to identify necessary sources and automate their provisioning.
• Document automation processes.
• Create and document disaster recovery plan.
• Identify and correct any single points of failure.
• Work with development team and key stake holders to create plan for monitoring Scheduled jobs.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive proper requirements.
• Coding of complex jobs/ modules based on design/guidelines/requirements.
