Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio Developer to design, develop, and maintain ETL applications and data integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in building scalable data pipelines and working with large datasets in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Ab Initio tools.
Develop and maintain graphs using GDE (Graphical Development Environment).
Work with Co>Operating System, EME, Metadata Hub, and Ab Initio components.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading activities from multiple data sources.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Create technical documentation and support deployment activities.
Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Ab Initio ETL Development.
Experience with GDE, Co>Operating System, EME.
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata.
Understanding of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL methodologies.
Knowledge of file processing, data migration, and performance tuning.
Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Good to Have:
Experience with Control-M / Autosys scheduling tools.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Banking, healthcare, or finance domain experience.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
