Job Description
Position : Executive Business Development
Location : Pune, India
Key responsibilities and accountabilities :
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Manage the receipt, handling and escalation of all sales enquiries
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits.
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
- Maintain and update database for potential and existing client base.
Desired Skills :
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Computer literate - adept knowledge of MS office and relevant analytical tools
- Fast learner and excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Marathi, Hindi and English
