Designation: Executive - Business Development
Location: Coimbatore
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, industry events, and other channels. Identify and assess potential business opportunities and client needs.
- Work under the assigned division and report to the division reporting head.
- Visit client locations to present and brief on services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 0-2 years of experience in business development, preferably within the consulting or professional services industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Identify potential clients in the target market using online tools, industry events, and referrals.

Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.

Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other lead gen activities.
2. Client Engagement:

Initiate and maintain effective communication with prospects to understand their business needs and present suitable solutions.

Conduct product/service presentations and demos (online or in-person).

Build strong long-term relationships with potential and existing clients.
3. Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:

Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to design and implement strategic business plans.

Work toward individual and team-based revenue targets.

Follow up on incoming inquiries and convert them into confirmed sales.
4. Proposal and Negotiation:

Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations customized to client requirements.

Negotiate terms of contracts and pricing in line with company policy.

Ensure all agreements are in compliance with legal and internal standards.
5. Reporting and CRM Management:

Maintain detailed and accurate records of interactions with leads and clients using a CRM system.

Track and report key metrics such as conversion rates, revenue, and follow-ups.

Provide regular updates to senior management on business development performance.
6. Market Intelligence:

Stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.

Provide feedback to internal teams regarding client needs and opportunities for new products or services.

Participate in networking events, trade shows, webinars, and other industry-specific gatherings to represent the company.
