1. Retail Health & Personal Accident Underwriting

Underwrite retail Health and personal accident cases and provide appropriate decision with the available information in hand with adherence to TAT.

Strictly follow Medical and Technical adjudication based on the company underwriting guidelines

Prepare quote proposals, provide required analysis and develop recommendations and solutions that maximize growth and profitability to sales team

Manual review &policy issuance -scrutiny of the proposals & further issuance of policies beyond the authority limit of the location.

Manual review &endorsement issuance -scrutiny of the endorsements & further issuance of endorsement beyond the authority limit of the location.

2. Tele Underwriting and Sales Support

Handling direct Tele underwriting & resolve their issues and grievances

Resolve sales team queries, training of sales team members on updates in processes and new health products.

Handling queries regarding retail health & PA underwriting, of Internal & external customers telephonically & through mails

Conduct Appointment fixing /sending authorization letter to the diagnostic centers

Collect DC & hospital empanelment requests referred by sales team & further share with HAT team for empanelment with company.

3. Market Analysis - Retail Health Products

Carry out analysis of Health insurance products available in insurance market for competitor product mapping & share the insights with leadership team to build competitive product for the function.

4. Underwriting Compliance & claims analysis

To keep track and record of non disclosure, intimate ND / policy exclusion / policy cancellation to client with coordination with operations team & HAT team.

Perform claim analysis ( basis location , claim amount ,type of claim , claim ratio / frequency, hospital-wise etc. ) & share deviation observed with management / ILM team for further investigation to mitigate loss to the organization.
