The Helper in the Manufacturing Unit assists with various tasks to support production operations. This role involves maintaining cleanliness, handling materials, and providing general assistance to skilled workers and machine operators. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling:

Load and unload raw materials, parts, and finished products manually or using equipment.

Transport materials to and from storage areas, workstations, and production lines.
Production Support:

Assist machine operators and skilled workers with setup and operation of machinery.

Feed raw materials into production machinery.

Monitor production processes and report any issues to supervisors.
Quality Control:
-
Inspect products for defects or irregularities.
-
Separate and discard defective products and materials.
Maintenance and Cleaning:
-
Keep work areas clean and organized.
-
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery and equipment.

Dispose of waste materials properly.
Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety regulations and protocols.

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Inventory Management:

Assist with inventory counts and stock management.

Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials and products.
General Assistance:

Provide assistance to other departments as needed.

Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors to support production goals.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not required.

Basic understanding of production processes and machinery.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
