About the internship

As a Fashion Designing Intern, you will take ownership of producing and managing engaging, relevant and targeted fashion statements in couture gowns (Western) and Indian bridal lengha for our prospective clients.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Producing concepts
2. Making sketches by hand
3. Making sketched on computers
4. Developing patterns
5. Creating 3D clothes in AutoCAD/Browzwear/CLO/Assyst/Lectra/Tuka CAD
6. Planing and developing ranges, often based on a theme
7. Specializing in color matching
8. Specializing in surface embroidery knowledge of Wilcom Embroidery Studio
9. Innovating in designing couture gowns (Western) and Indian Bridal Lengha
10. Overseeing production
11. Analyzing trends in fabrics, colors & shapes
12. Sourcing suppliers
13. Selecting and buying fabrics and trims
14. Adapting existing designs for mass production
15. Supervising the making up of sample garments
