Job Description
TNIFMC wishes to engage graduates/postgraduates from reputed
institutes as Fellows in the organisation. The Fellows will gain real world
experience of deal making, research, thesis development on VC/PE investment
opportunity.
Qualifications:
a) Graduation/Postgraduation in law from reputed colleges
b) General understanding of company law and investment processes
Desired Profile
i. Exp in drafting of transaction documents (SHA/ Debenture Agreements/ Investment Agreements etc.)
ii. Exp in M&A/ private equity/ venture capital would be an added advantage
iii. Basic understanding of investment structures CCPS/ NCDs/ OCDs would be an added advantage
Roles & Responsibility
a) Deal structuring, Term sheet and definitive documentation
b) Coordinate with external law firms for due diligence/ documentation.
c) Assist in deal structuring and negotiations.
d) Assist in conditions precedent and conditions subsequent closure.
e) Any other work assigned by the organisation.
f) Ensure compliance with all necessary rules and regulations.
Other Details:
The positions are contractual in nature, with a tenure of one year, at the office in Chennai. Stipend will not be a consideration for the right candidate.
