Job Description
Applications are invited for the position of Field Assistant in a Department of Science & Technology (DST) sponsored project, “Development of AI based DSS for Improved Crop Water Use Efficiency under Regulated Deficit Drip Irrigation Regime in the Backdrop of Climate Change”, under the Principal Investigator, Dr. Gopal Das Singhal, Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering, Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar 201314 (U.P.), INDIA. The position is temporary and is available immediately.
Essential qualification: B.Sc. in Botany/Chemistry or Diploma in Agriculture science/engineering or Diploma in Laboratory Techniques or B.Sc. Agriculture (Agronomy or related branch)
Desirable: Candidates with knowledge in computer, field preparation, instrument handling and data collection for different crops and 1-year work experience will be given preference.
Emoluments: Rs 20,000/- per month + 8% HRA (as per DST norms)
Duration: 1+1 years (purely temporary).
Project Description: The project aims to collect and analyze the crop data of different soil and physiological parameters for different seasons.
