Job Description
1. Post Name: Field Investigator
2. No of Post: 02(two)-UR
3. Salary: 18,000/month
4. Purpose of the post:
5. Essential educational qualification: Medical Social Worker/Bachelor's degree in Health sciencesA.lutrition/Anthropology/GNlWANzllSocial work/Sociology from a recognized university with I-2 years work experience in community health from a recognized institution.
6.Desirable:
a. Knowledge of local language, written and spoken is mandatory.
b. Basic computer proficiency
c. Experience of conducting community based interviews and data collection work
d. Preference will be given to those who have already worked in health andlor nutrition related programs.
e. Preference to Medical Social Worker with prior experience of field work.
7. Duration: 10 months or co-terminus with the project.
8. Role of Field investigator:
i. Data collection of the child including details of the child and incidences of morbidity using a questionnaire, and measurement for weight, height/Length, skinfold thickness (triceps and subscapular), dietary assessment and BIA (only in sub-sample) at the time of baseline and exit
ii. Administration of questionnaire for consumption of locally produced energy dense food, weight, height/Length and skinfold thickness (triceps and subscapular) with all enrolled children at 6 weeks, l2 weeks and 16 weeks/exit
iii. Any other role assigned by the SCoE and NCoE related to the study.
