  • Job Description :Looking for self motivated professionals for a B2B2C VC funded startup, based in Bangalore. The founders are from Alibaba.com & Paytm. Our office is in Whitefield, Hoodi Circle, Bangalore.
  • Ready to work to in Field-Sales2.To identify potential customers, create and close new business opportunities in line with the strategic direction of the company. 
  • To build and maintain strong client relationships by effectively handlings objections/cancellations thus ensuring a high level of customer service is met at all times. 
  • To prepare sales proposals for prospective clients.  
  • Proven capabilities and skills in lead generation, appointment setting, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, and time management 
  • Language Known : Kannada & Hindi , English

History

The seed of Milmilatech business model started to germinate in the mind of Mr. Prasun Sarkar. A one time buyer operations head for the world renowned Alibaba.com, Mr. Sarkar was struck by how most B2B sites had no plans for the small retailer. There was a lacuna that had to be filled. The thought took shape and Mr. Sarkar, with VC funding, left Alibaba to start his own project of a B2B2C site that would address the needs of small retailers.

Industry experience

Mr. Sarkar was the buyer head at Alibaba.com, one of the world’s top B2B online sites. He gained ample experience of developing vendor chains and managing supply sides as well as bringing more manufacturers and wholesalers into the Alibaba fold. While working he used to receive thousands of inquiries from small retailers but had no way of addressing their requirements due to the way the online B2B business was organized.

Milmila’s focused mission is to serve the millions of retailers and small individual traders as well as home based businesses operating across India by assisting them to source from global vendors and explore the vast online marketplace for greater prosperity.

·         Invite wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers to join milmila.com marketplace and help them reach out to millions of small buyers by offering small lots in a B2B platform but with nuances of the B2C practices such as direct order placement, payments and execution of orders; and,

·         Supply side development and logistics chain to help small retailers across India.

Branch locations

Milmila.com currently operates out of its Bangalore based head office and its Delhi branch but has plans to set up offices also in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata in the near future.
