Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition

Identify potential clients through market research, cold calling, field visits, and networking.

Visit retail outlets, distributors, corporate clients, or consumers depending on the product/service.

Schedule and attend meetings to present products or services effectively.

Follow up on leads provided by the internal team or marketing campaigns.
2. Sales Presentations and Demonstrations

Explain product features, pricing, and benefits clearly to potential customers.

Conduct live product demonstrations when necessary, highlighting the value and usage of the product.

Tailor presentations according to customer type—B2B, B2C, institutional clients, etc.
3. Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.

Act as the point of contact for customer queries and concerns.

Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintain client records using CRM software or reporting systems.
4. Achieving Sales Targets

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company.

Track sales activities and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure consistent performance.

Propose strategies for upselling and cross-selling.
5. Territory Management
-
Plan daily travel routes and maintain coverage of assigned areas or territories.

Optimize time and effort by strategically planning client meetings and visits.

Monitor competitor activities and report market trends to the sales manager.
6. Reporting and Documentation

Submit daily/weekly reports on visits, client interactions, order bookings, and target status.

Maintain accurate records of customer communications, sales figures, and follow-up actions.

Report feedback and suggestions from customers to the marketing or product team.
7. Promotional and Campaign Activities
-
Participate in on-ground promotional activities, events, product launches, or exhibitions.

Distribute marketing materials like brochures, product catalogs, and samples.

Collect feedback and testimonials from satisfied clients when possible.
