Job Overview
A Field Sales Executive at Paytm is responsible for driving sales, acquiring new merchants, promoting Paytm’s financial products, and ensuring merchant engagement. This role involves meeting potential customers, explaining Paytm’s services, and achieving sales targets through direct interactions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding
- Identify and approach potential merchants for Paytm’s payment solutions.
- Explain the benefits of Paytm QR codes, POS machines, and digital payment services.
- Complete the onboarding process, including KYC documentation and account activation.
2. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Promote Paytm’s financial products such as wallet, UPI, POS, soundbox, loans, and credit services.
- Drive revenue growth by increasing merchant transactions through Paytm.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with merchants and resolve their queries.
- Provide training on Paytm’s app usage, transaction processes, and offers.
- Ensure merchants remain active and use Paytm’s payment solutions regularly.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Gather insights on market trends and merchant needs.
- Analyze competitor payment solutions and suggest improvements.
- Provide feedback to the Paytm sales and product teams.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain a record of daily visits, sales closures, and merchant feedback.
- Submit daily/weekly reports on field activities and sales performance.
- Use CRM tools and mobile apps to track leads and conversions.
