Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Data Entry and Analysis: Interns often assist in entering financial data into spreadsheets or accounting software. They may also analyze this data to identify trends or discrepancies.
2. Financial Reporting: Preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Assisting with Budgeting: Support the finance team in creating and managing budgets. Gathering expense information, updating budget spreadsheets, and potentially assisting in budget analysis.
4. Research: Research financial topics or industry trends to support decision-making within the finance department.
5. Assisting with Audits: Audit preparations by gathering documents, organizing files, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
6. Financial Modeling: Assist in building financial models to analyze various scenarios or support strategic decision-making.
7. Supporting Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and communicating with vendors or clients regarding payments.
8. Administrative Tasks: Able to handle administrative duties such as filing financial documents, answering phone calls or emails, and scheduling meetings.
