Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Conducting constant market research and seeking new and interesting investment opportunities in the private equity, real estate, and technology spaces
2. Conducting due diligence for potential investments, including market research and analysis, review of technology/industry trends, participating in management meetings, financial modeling, and valuation (including LBO and DCF analysis), and reference calls
3. Performing KPI analysis on potential investment opportunities (e.g., evaluating unit economics and performing cohort analysis, if applicable)
4. Drafting and presenting investment memos and additional written materials including portfolio reviews and operational updates
5. Assisting with monitoring portfolio companies and internal reporting
6. Taking leadership roles in analyzing specific investment opportunities, investment sectors, and/or geographies
7. Performing market analyses to generate potential new business leads, preparing meeting materials, and participating actively in meetings with prospective clients
8. Tracking industry statistics and maintaining internal databases including deal flow, deal KPIs, and portfolio operating metrics
