Firmware Test Engineer Job in NEXTEER AUTOMOTIVE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED at Bangalore

Design, build, configure, and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments for automotive ECU validation.

Perform hardware and software integration, including ECU interfacing, wiring harness preparation, pin mapping, and signal routing.

Configure and validate automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, and I2C.

Use Vector CANoe to monitor, analyze, and validate CAN/LIN communication messages and signals.

Perform ECU flashing, firmware integration, and post-flashing validation activities.

Validate analog, digital, PWM, and frequency signals using appropriate testing equipment.

Execute system-level functional testing, sanity testing, and hardware validation activities.

Perform hardware debugging, fault isolation, failure analysis, and root-cause analysis (RCA).

Work with microcontrollers and embedded platforms, preferably ARM-based controllers.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve hardware, software, and communication-related issues.
