Job Description
Nuvven is seeking new team members in India to join our development team. You will be part of global business at the forefront of disruption in the car rental industry. These roles represent a great opportunity for the right candidate, but please only apply if you have the following competencies:
Node/React/Redux - Full Stack Engineer
Requirements:
A B.E/B.Tech/ M.Tech - Degree
1-3 years of experience in a product development environment
Solid UI development experience using React, Redux, JWT, TypeScript and APIs
Familiarity with Node and NPM (and the Node ecosystem in general)
Comfortable working with Git/SVN and a good understanding of version control
Knowledge of or experience with SaaS/ Microservices based environments
Ability to understand business requirements/ workflows and come up with technical designs and implementations
Experience working in fast-paced environments and work closely with the core
Engineering team in tandem to quickly iterate through product development phases.
Good communication skills (written as well as verbal/spoken)
Previous experience working with cloud providers like AWS or GCP desirable
Node development experience is a must.
Front end:
React.js with Typescript.
Redux for state management
Apollo Client for connecting to the back-end
Back end:
Microservice Oriented Architecture
GraphQL for API
Apollo Federated Schema
Node.js servers running Apollo Servers
Database
Couchbase
Location
Although we are based in Edinburgh and Bangalore, the whole team is currently working remotely. We are continuing our hiring and onboarding, as well as finding alternative ways to stay connected and enjoy activities together virtually. This position will not be suitable for a fully remote candidate, so must be based in, or willing to relocate to Bangalore, India.
