Global AP & Travel Manager
Location: India, Bangalore
- This role will give the opportunity to functionally lead the daily operations of the team.
- Manage daily Global T&E operations, including T&E policy adherence, improving overall T&E user experience, ensuring timely completion of reports, and resolving customer service and technology issues.
- Manage global AP functions.
- Experience in Accounting of travel invoices.
- To ensure all the deadlines are met.
- Knowledge on travel billing to customers. Ability to understand SOWs with customers.
- To ensure audit of expense are done on daily basis.
- Supervise the work of Travel and Expense Accountants.
- Perform weekly random audits to ensure reported expenses are in line with current T&E policy.
- Ability to understand the current process in depth and helping in improving the process.
- Basic knowledge on direct and indirect taxes.
- Manage customer billing of T&E expenses on monthly basis
- Management Reporting (MIS)
- Implement processes and create back-ups to ensure seamless continuity.
- Co-ordination with division heads and senior management
- Co-ordination with Internal and External auditors
- Maintains good relationship with customers, suppliers and other business partners
- Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and work with minimal supervision and direction Proactively.
- Displays courteous and professional attitude;
- Work well under pressure with changing priorities while thinking strategically. Organize and schedule work effectively in order to meet deadlines.
- 5+ years of experience in a CA firm or large organization;
- 3+ years of experience in travel accounting, audit and taxation;
- Experience with Concur, SAP, and corporate card programs
- Accounting software like Tally ERP 9, SAP and others
- Excellent English skills verbal and writing
