Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Graduate Engineer Trainee - GET in the field of Testing and Commissioning of Electrical Equipment. The ideal candidate will be a recent electrical engineering graduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience in the commissioning, inspection, and performance testing of electrical systems and components such as transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, relays, and panels.
This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are looking to kick-start their careers in electrical project execution, testing, and field engineering.
Key Responsibilities:

Testing and Commissioning:
-
Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of various electrical equipment at project sites.

Conduct tests on transformers, protection relays, switchgear (HT/LT), circuit breakers, and power/control panels under supervision.

Perform insulation resistance tests, high-voltage tests, and functionality checks.

Site Support:
-
Support senior engineers and project teams during on-site activities.

Ensure testing tools, instruments, and safety devices are properly used and maintained.

Provide technical assistance in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues during commissioning.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain test reports, checklists, and commissioning logs.

Document test procedures, observations, and deviations.

Ensure all reports are submitted timely and in the required format.

Coordination:

Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients during site visits and testing schedules.

Follow site protocols and safety guidelines at all times.

Learning and Development:

Attend training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and practical skills.

Gain exposure to electrical standards, testing procedures, and industry best practices.
