Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conceptualize, present, execute design concepts: take the design -briefs- to record requirements and determine the message the design should portray
2. Have an awareness of emerging, new creative styles and color trends, and its implementation into VIDEC's and/or its clients' creatives
3. Ideate, implement core messaging within the existing layouts
4. Perform website- hygiene checks, updating new imagery, collaborating with the web developer to update the look and feel of the various online content
5. Combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images and the layout of websites and printed pages
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Design, Visual Arts, or relevant qualification. Degree in Design.
Additional Skills:
1. Creative and strategic
2. Basic understanding of HTML/WordPress/CSS
3. Ability to express and communicate in English
4. Good listener with an empathetic nature
5. Finesse - Attention to detail, accuracy, and sensitivity
6. Highly motivated and patient with a process of trial and error
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 17th Nov'20 and 22nd Dec'20
3. are available for duration of 6 months

1. Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts and prepare rough drafts to present ideas
2. A sense of color, design, scale, and contrast, balance and hierarchy across the design
3. Understanding of how creatives can impact, influence communication of ideas and research data points
4. Knowledge of various supported output size/dimensions and file formats for websites and blogs (WordPress) and social media posts
5. Have pre-existing knowledge or showcase the aptitude of quickly understanding the travel industry
6. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with the team
7. Stay up-to-date with design application changes and industry developments
8. Up to date with industry-leading software and technologies and its application (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, CorelDraw, etc.)
