Qualification : (i) A candidate should have throughout good
academic record with minimum 55 percent marks at the Master's degree or
equivalent (or equivalent grade) level. Relaxation of 5 per cent marks will be
given at Master's Level for SC/ST/PWD candidates of the state. But both
benefits shall not be admissible to the same candidate. (ii) Besides fulfilling
the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National
Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by
the UGC like SLET / SET. (iii) Those candidates who have received Ph.D. Degree
on the basis of Minimum Standard and Procedure Regulation, 2009, framed by the
University GrantsCommission for M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree, shall be exempted from
passing theNET/SLET/SET. (iv) Further, degrees to candidates registered for the
M.Phil./Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009 (Clause 3.3.1, UGC Regulations,
2016, 3rd Amendment), shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing
Ordinances/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degrees and those Ph.D.
candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility
condition of 'NET/SLET/SET, subject to the fulfillment of the following
conditions: (a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only;
(b) Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners; (c) The
candidate had published two research papers out of which at least one in a
refereed journal from out of his/her Ph.D. work; (d) The candidate had
presented two papers in seminars/conferences from out of his/her Ph.D. work;
(e) Open Ph.D. viva-voce of the candidate had been conducted. (a) To (e) as
above are to be certified by the Dean and Pro-Vice- Chancellor. Those, who do
not satisfy these five conditions, cannotbe exempted from the requirement of
the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. (iv) NET / SLET / SET shall
also not be required for such Masters Programmes in which NET / SLET / SET are
not conducted.
Pay : They will be paid an Honorarium of Rs. 1000/-
per class, with a maximum of Rs. 25000/- in a month.
Age Limit : 23-55 Yrs as on 01.01.2019
Application Fee :
Rs.650
for General / EBC /BC Categories and Rs.350
for Others. It is to be paid as DD in Favor of Registrar, Bhupendra Narayan
Mandal University and Payable at Madhepura.
Selection Procedure : The aspirants submitting valid applications will be called for test/interview, if found suitable for.
