Guest Faculty Social Sciences  job recruitment in South Asian University.

Required Qualifications : The minimum requirement is a PhD degree in International Relations or a related discipline (e.g. Peace and Conflict Studies) from a recognised university. A demonstrable knowledge of the aforementioned courses/subject areas is essential. Some teaching experience is preferred.

The applicant must be ideally prepared to also offer an additional optional course from the courses listed below:

Critical Approaches to Peace-making - M.A. (Winter Semester, 2018)

Political Economy of European Integration - M.A. (Winter Semester, 2018)

Strategic Themes - M.A. (Winter Semester, 2018) 

Conditions and Rate of Payment : Applicants should be able to teach the course identified above as per the syllabi and time table set by the Department of International Relations. The work involves a total workload of approximately 16 hours per month of teaching, four office hours per month, six hours examination supervision and additional 20 hours of examination paper/term paper corrections per course per Semester (including teaching, evaluating, supervision of exams, preparation time and mandatory office hours). The payment is at the rate of Rs. 1,200/- per hour. In addition to the remuneration, the Guest Faculty will be entitled to payment of local transportation charges, as per SAU norms.
