Job Description
1. Name of the Post: Havaldar
2. No.of Vacancies: 03
3. Pay (As per 7th CPC): Level – 1 in the pay matrix (Rs. 18,000 – 56,900)
4. Educational and other qualification required: Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board.
5. Note : Candidate will be required to possess the physical standards and pass physical test as specified below, namely:-
6. For Male Candidates: Physical standards (minimum) Height – 157.5 Cms (relaxed by 5 Cms in the Case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes)
ii. Chest – 81 Cms (fully expanded with minimum expansion of 5 cms)
iii. Physical Test: Walking – 1600 Meters in 15 minutes Cycling – 8 Kms in 30 minutes.
iv. For Female Candidates: Physical standard (minimum) Height-152 Cms Weight: 48 Kgs, Height relaxble by 2.5 Cms and weight by 2 kgs, in case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes
v. Physical Test: Walking- 1 km in 20 minutes Cycling- 3 Kms in 25 minutes
7. Sports Eligibility:
The proficiency will be evaluated on the basis of their participation in recognized tournaments / events in the calendar year 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017 and 2016 for which details should be furnished. The tournaments/ events will be evaluated in the following descending order of importance.
a) International Tournaments/Events like Olympics & World Championship.
b) International Tournaments/Events of regional importance like Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games / Afro Asian Games.
c) Other International Tournaments / Events like SAF Games.
d) Domestic Tournaments / Senior National level Events like National Games, National Federation Games etc.
e) Domestic Tournaments / Junior National level Events
f) Inter University Tournaments.
g) National School Games
h) National physical efficiency /drive certificate holders.
Age Limit:
18 to 27 years as on 01-06-2021. Relaxation up to 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years in case of SC/ST Candidates.
