Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Stock Handling & Replenishment:
-
Assist in unloading goods from delivery trucks and moving them to the storage or display area.

Refill shelves and racks with products from the stockroom.
-
Ensure products are neatly arranged and properly labeled.
2. Store Maintenance:
-
Keep aisles, shelves, and storage areas clean and organized.
-
Assist in cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
-
Dispose of empty cartons, packaging material, and maintain hygiene standards.
3. Customer Assistance:
-
Help customers locate products or guide them to specific sections.
-
Assist elderly or disabled customers with their shopping bags if needed.
-
Inform supervisors about customer complaints or issues for resolution.
4. Safety & Orderliness:
-
Follow safety procedures while lifting or shifting items.
-
Ensure that trolleys and baskets are placed in their designated spots.
-
Report any breakages, spillages, or safety hazards immediately.
5. Support to Other Staff:
-
Assist cashiers in packing goods at billing counters during rush hours.
-
Support staff during stock audits, rearrangement, or promotional setups.
-
Help in tagging or labeling of new products when required.
