Law Clerk-cum-Research Assistant recruitment in High Court of Delhi purely on contractual basis

Qualifications : (i) Candidate must have secured at least 60% marks LLB. Depending . upon the number of applications received, the , cut off percentage of marks can be further enhanced, at the discretion of DSLSA. The candidate must be a fresh law graduate having a Bachelor Degree in Law (including Integrated Degree Course in Law) from any National Law Schoo1/ College/University / Institution established by law in India and recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrolment as Advocate­

No. of Posts : 03 in the Central Office, Delhi State Legal Services Authority and  05 in District Legal Services Authorities

Salary : Rs. 20,000/-

Age : 27 years of age as on the last date of receipt of applications.

Method of Selection : Selection shall be made on the basis of Interview

The High Court of Delhi was established on 31st October 1966. Initially, the High Court of Delhi exercised jurisdiction not only over the Union Territory of Delhi, but also Himachal Pradesh. It had a Himachal Pradesh Bench at Shimla in a building called Ravenswood. The High Court of Delhi continued to exercise jurisdiction over Himachal Pradesh until the State of Himachal Pradesh Act, 1970 was enforced on 25th January 1971. The High Court of Delhi was established with four Judges. They were Chief Justice K. S. Hegde, Justice I. D. Dua, Justice H. R. Khanna and Justice S. K. Kapur. The sanctioned strength of Judges of this High Court increased from time to time. Presently, the sanctioned strength of Judges of the High Court of Delhi is 29 permanent Judges and 19 Additional Judges.
