Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Housekeeping Attendant to manage and maintain a dormitory with 17 beds. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort within the premises. This includes maintaining rooms, washing and arranging linens and blankets, and providing service support as per guest requirements. The role is best suited for someone who takes pride in their work, values discipline, and is eager to provide excellent hospitality service.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain overall cleanliness of the dormitory and common areas.

Take care of 17 beds, ensuring they are neatly arranged with fresh sheets, blankets, and linens.

Wash, dry, iron, and store linens, blankets, and pillow covers in an organized manner.

Regularly clean floors, furniture, and bathrooms, ensuring a hygienic environment.

Ensure proper ventilation and sanitization of rooms.

Replenish supplies like soaps, toilet paper, towels, and drinking water as required.

Check for any maintenance issues (lights, fans, plumbing, etc.) and report them promptly.

Assist and serve guests with their requirements in a polite and helpful manner.

Follow all safety and hygiene standards as per company guidelines.

Maintain laundry records and ensure no loss of guest belongings.

Support in guest check-in/check-out by ensuring rooms are ready on time.
Required Skills and Competencies

Passion for cleanliness and hospitality service.

Ability to work independently and responsibly without constant supervision.

Good communication and polite behavior with guests.

Physical fitness to handle cleaning tasks, laundry, and bed arrangements.

Attention to detail in maintaining hygiene and presentation standards.

Basic knowledge of laundry handling (washing, drying, ironing).

Willingness to work flexible hours based on guest needs.
Eligibility Criteria

Education: No formal education required. Basic reading/writing ability preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in housekeeping, hostel/dormitory management, or hospitality is an advantage, but freshers are also welcome.

Age: 18 years and above.

Other: Should be honest, hardworking, and service-oriented.
