Job Description

·         Provides superior support for day-to-day HR activities and employee relations for the company to ensure strategic alignment with objectives and compliance.

·         Acts as a business partner driving process improvement and change initiatives

·         Ensures legal compliance with various governmental laws and regulations covering the areas of labor relations, safety, employment, wage and hour, worker’s compensation, etc.

·         Administers policies and procedures in alignment with company expectations

·         Acts as a coach with management and supervisory staff

·         Serves as a Change Agent and Engagement Champion

·         Assists in Company functions and engagement activities

·         Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their manager

·         Responds to unemployment claims and mortgage and reference checks

·         Assists with planning EE Engagement events and Employee Sales

·         Backs up the other positions in the HR Department

·         Assists with other duties as assigned

Recruiting and Retention

·         Assists with building and marketing as an employer of choice

·         Identifies opportunities to reduce turnover and works with managers to implement ideas

·         Helps develop and implement the recruiting and hiring strategy for all hourly positions

·         Identifies recruiting opportunities for good faith outreach

·         Assists with employment duties; prepares all new hire offer letters, I-9s, eVerify, confidentiality agreements and regret letters; prepares orientation packets, sets up files, customizes orientation binders for each location, coordinates all updates with point of contact at various locations

·         Provides recruiting metrics

·         Works with point of contact to process new hire paperwork; coordinates and conducts new hire orientation

·         Enters new hire information in the HRIS system and is responsible for maintaining personnel files both electronic and paper

·         Assists with various reports and preparation of such reports

·         Handles day to day operations, including incoming phone calls and e-mail, responds in a timely manner, and reports all pertinent issues to Director of HR and Safety.

·         Assists in the recruitment process by posting positions and updates on ATS (applicant tracking system), places ads online and in print for various job opportunities within the system, updating job posting on website, conducting online searches, contacting and pre-screening candidates and setting up interviews with the hiring manager; attends career and job fairs

Experience and Skills

Must be bilingual – English/Hindi

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a minimum of 2 years of progressive HR Generalist with Recruiting experience required;

·         Strong emphasis on HRIS capabilities and experience; (ADP)

·         Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)

·         Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

·         Must be customer service oriented

·         Know about payroll & policy.

·         Must have Very high employee recruiting in a short time experience.

·         Highly motivated, strong initiative, ability to work with minimal supervision, strong attention to detail, accuracy and follow-up; must be professional and flexible

·         Must be a strong company advocate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities and projects a must.

·         Ability to address all levels of employees in a professional and respectful manner is essential.
