Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-focused HR Executive to join our growing Human Resources team. As an HR Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee engagement, recruitment, compliance, and performance management processes. You will serve as a point of contact for employees and management, helping to ensure a healthy, compliant, and productive workplace environment.
This role offers a well-rounded exposure to the full spectrum of human resources functions and is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, processes, and continuous improvement in workplace culture and talent management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.

Source candidates through various platforms such as job portals, social media, referrals, and recruitment agencies.

Screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.

Manage end-to-end recruitment life cycle – from sourcing and screening to final selection and offer release.

Facilitate onboarding processes including offer letters, joining formalities, induction sessions, and background checks.
2. Employee Records & HR Documentation

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRMS or digital databases.

Ensure proper documentation of employee files including offer letters, contracts, appraisals, and exit documents.

Generate reports and HR dashboards (attendance, turnover, recruitment metrics, etc.) as required by management.
3. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Support

Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and leave records using HR software or manual systems.

Assist the payroll team by compiling data such as attendance, overtime, and leave balances.

Ensure timely updates and communication regarding company holidays, leave policies, and time-off procedures.
4. Employee Engagement & Welfare

Plan and execute employee engagement activities such as birthday celebrations, festivals, team-building events, and recognition programs.

Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and analyze results to suggest improvements.

Serve as a bridge between employees and management to address workplace concerns and foster a positive culture.
5. Compliance & Policy Enforcement

Ensure HR operations comply with labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).

Maintain compliance calendars and help ensure timely filings and submissions of reports or returns.

Assist with audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to HR compliance.
6. Performance Management & Appraisals

Coordinate the annual/bi-annual performance appraisal cycle.

Support managers and employees in setting goals, tracking progress, and completing evaluation forms.

Maintain performance data and provide insights to improve employee development plans.
7. Exit Process & Offboarding
-
Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback to help reduce attrition and improve HR practices.

Manage the full and final settlement process in coordination with accounts and payroll teams.

Ensure proper clearance from departments and documentation during employee separation.
8. HR Communication & Support

Draft HR notices, memos, circulars, and emails as needed.

Provide HR policy guidance and support to employees across levels.

Resolve queries regarding HR rules, benefits, and grievance handling in a timely and empathetic manner.
